"Vito"
Welcome to my Life!

Hi, they call me "Vito."

 Welcome to my short life.

My mom Kim, says I was one stubborn little pug.

I never listened, just ignored her and my dad Tim.

That is unless I wanted some food!

But then again that is what they loved about me!

I found my New Family.......

I was born October 20, 2002. Mom always liked the Pug breed.   I was lucky, it took her awhile .. but Mom finally talked Dad into coming and at least 'looking' at me!  He thought that they didn't need another pet.  I was only about 4 weeks old when I first saw them, but it was love at first sight.  As soon as I made it into their arms I knew I was at home and fell right asleep.

After they got me home Dad said that they should have gotten a Pug sooner!  At that time, they couldn't imagine their life without me

I Had to Share my Mom and Dad......

When Mom and Dad took me home I realized that I had to share them with others (I hadn't counted on that!).  Gracie was a shepard-mix and she was always loving on me.  Then there was Cooper, he was a golden retriever and didn't care as much for me.  I used to chase him and bite at the back of his legs.  Then there were these three furry things..... Mom called them 'cats.'  The one cat called Dakota, (aka Kota) and I use to play.  He would be laying on the kitchen floor and I'd run and jump on him and bite his ears and neck!  Kota would cry but wouldn't run away.  It seemed to be a love/hate thing between us.

All the dogs slept in the bed with Mom and Dad.  But *I* always had to lay so I would take up most the room even though I was the smallest.  Many nights poor Dad went with little or no blankets AND room.

I Really Enjoyed..........

Playing! Swimming! Making Mom or Dad come after me! Angel!

Playing...... does a Pug want anything else?

Swimming....... Mom and Dad had a pool and I would sit on the side and bark until they came for me.  Gracie showed off and could swim like a fish, no splashing but I was a sloppy swimmer, and I sure got water all over everyone and everything!  When I was done I had to be wrapped in a blanket and carried around, not really because I was cold, I just wanted to be babied.

Ignoring Mom and Dad or being stubborn.....I don't think they realize this, but that is just a trait of Pugs.  As example; all of us 4 legged critters could be outside and they would call us in.  Well, Gracie and Cooper went when they were called...... but not me! I would go up to the deck and sit down.  If they wanted me bad enough, they had to come and get me!

Angel...... well she was kind of my girlfriend.  She is a little 'pretty' Yorkie that lived next door to me.  I would sit at the fence by her door and stare for hours hoping to see her.  Mom or Dad would ask me "Where is Angel?" and I'd start barking like crazy trying to outside to sit by the fence again.
