"Vito"
Some of my Friends!

All about my family and friends

Here I am (below) with Gracie.  Mom and Dad never thought Gracie would ever take to another animal in the house.  Just one small change in her daily routine would make her a little crazy.

Gracie had her share of problems starting earlier then me!  A lady found her when she was only 4 weeks old.  Gracie had been used as 'pit bull fighting bait'.  She was then taken to an adoption center, but she had holes in her back, neck and chest so my aunt (who was volunteering there) took her to the vet's office she worked at.  Doc fixed Gracie up as best as he could and then my aunt took her back home.  That is when Mom and Dad got the calls: "you've got to come see her!  She is sooooo cute!"  Well they went to see her........... and took her home.

Mom and Dad were surprised that she took that 'motherly' role with me, but I was so cute Gracie just couldn't resist!  Even after my shot .... when my ear drum broke, Gracie was constantly around me, sniffing me and licking my sore ear, wanting to make me better.

Me and Gracie

I didn't pick on Gracie like I did Cooper (male Golden) or Dakota!

Dakota was my favorite one to torment.

It didn't matter how much I jumped on Kota or bit his ears during the day, we always snuggled up together when night came.

Mom or Dad would wake up in the middle of the night to see why they couldn't move their legs...... they would look down at the end of the bed and said we were "spooning" each other.

Dakota and me!

We make a good contrast, don't you think?  He's white and I'm black!

My girlfriend was a little Yorkie next door named "Angel."

Before I got sick, I'd sit out next to the fence ... just staring at Angel's door waiting for her to come outside.  Sometimes I'd be so tired, I'd fall asleep sitting against the fence!  Mom and Dad would call me, but I wouldn't even turn my head, they had to come get me if they wanted me.

When Angel and I were both outside, we'd just run up and down alongside the fence!  Until our Moms and Dads made us stop.  We both left tracks of worn out grass all along the fence.

Angel's Mom and Dad are wonderful neighbors and they were so supportive and caring when I was sick.  They told Mom and Dad they should get a special Memorial stone and put right against the fence where I use to wait for Angel.
