In response to my complaint to the Attorney General the First Assistant Attorney General in charge of consumer fraud, Esther Chavez replied that it is unlawful for a Veterinarian to obtain a fee for misrepresenting the benefit or necessity of a vaccine. She said she will accept complaints against Veterinarians and drug companies.
None have been filed.

In response to my complaint to the Texas Veterinary Board, and only after I threatened to sue them, the Board wrote a letter to every Veterinarian in the State "suggesting" they update their vaccine recommendations. See the open letter in the library on my web site(www.critterfixer.com). The
letter was ignored. Only one of the six DVMs on the board updated their recommendations. One person who filed a complaint against their DVM for giving unnecessary vaccines was told by the Board 'If you don't like your Vet's recommendations find another Vet."

I took my complaint to the Sunset Committee, 12 Senators who oversee the State board. Senator Whitmire of Houston came down on the Board hard, ordering them to put a stop to unnecessary vaccines. Senator Jackson, Clear Lake agreed and backed him up. I got a letter from the Board stating they were going to ignore Senator Whitmire. But just to CYA they sent out another letter to every Vet in the State suggesting
they stop giving unnecessary vaccines. I may sue the Board yet.

Senator Shapleigh of El Paso was the most helpful of all the Senators. He has put me in contact with the Chicago law firm who will be filing a class action suit. "
